Abstract:
Die Akkumulation und vorübergehende Speicherung von Redox‐Äquivalenten mithilfe von sichtbarem Licht als Energiequelle ist von zentraler Bedeutung für die künstliche Photosynthese, da Schlüsselreaktionen wie die Reduktion von CO 2 oder die Oxidation von Wasser die Übertragung von mehreren Ladungen bedingen. Hier wird über das erste rein molekulare System berichtet, in dem nach Anregung mit sichtbarem Licht ein langlebiger ladungsgetrennter Zustand ( τ ≈870 ns) mit zwei akkumulierten Elektronen auf einem geeigneten Akzeptor beobachtet werden kann. Von besonderer Bedeutung dabei ist, dass kein Opferreagens verwendet wurde.
