Kurzfassung:
Leukemia inhibitory factor (LIF) is a multifunctional cytokine with diverse functions, playing crucial roles in both acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and lung cancer development. However, the mechanisms underlying the elevation of LIF in diseases remain largely unclear. In our study, we discovered that basal and LPS‐induced expression of LIF is governed by super‐enhancers. This finding offers novel insights into the transcriptional regulation of LIF expression in the context of ARDS and lung cancer.
