Abstract:
What's new? Women are diagnosed with bladder cancer at lower rates than men, but often have worse outcomes than men, even at similar stages. Studies of bladder cancer risk factors have more often focused on men than on women. Here, the authors examined different levels of physical activity as related to bladder cancer risk in postmenopausal women. Women who engaged in physical activity, whether it was walking or moderate‐to‐vigorous physical activity, had lower risk of bladder cancer than women who described themselves as physically inactive.
