Kurzfassung:
By introducing reactive self‐aligning amphiphile (SA) into nematic liquid crystals (NLC) with three times UV curing, a amulti‐domain vertical‐alignment LC device was successfully demonstrated. Compared to two times UV curing, the new device achieve almost no drop mura in the absence of conventional polyimides vertical‐alignment layers. The key to one more UV curing that SA reactive with RM fabricate a alignment layer can promote alignment capability before electric field applied. The alignment layer was anlayzed by using scanning electron microscopy(SEM).
