Kurzfassung:
The links between climate change and conflict are manifold and gaining increasing attention in policy and research. However, the link between sustainable peace and climate justice has been widely overlooked. This article addresses this gap conceptually and shows that civil conflict transformation offers effective means to address the climate crisis. Climate change mitigation, climate adaptation and conflict transformation need to be thought together, just like peace, environment and development, in order to shape social-ecological transformations.
