Abstract:
We study the impact of heterogeneity and pressure nonequilibrium in dual‐porosity fractured poroelastic media We propose a multirate nonequilibrium model of poroelasticity, and compare it with the classical theory of dual porosity poroelasticity The proposed multirate model accurately describes the nonequilibrium effects observed in the coupled flow and deformation of fracture media
