Abstract: A Brønsted acid and Lewis acid co-promoted cascade cyclization reaction was developed for the concise synthesis of disubstituted pyrrolo [2,1- a ] isoquinolines. The developed method was also successfully applied to the total synthesis of erythrina alkaloid Erysotramidine.
