Abstract:
In this longitudinal study of Indigenous Australians, estimated glomerular filtration rate declined considerably and this decline was greater with greater baseline albuminuria. However, cardiometabolic risk factors were not associated with estimated glomerular filtration rate decline and the effect of hyperglycaemia was intriguingly inconsistent across albuminuria groups.
