Abstract:
Peanut is one of the most important oil crops in the world. In the present study, we identified a peanut lesion mimic mutant m14 and found that a G‐to‐A point mutation in the exon region of candidate gene AhNPR3A . The mutant site contributed to the lesion mimic phenotype of m14 , and is related to the systemic acquired resistance of the peanut plant. AhNPR3A is valuable for improving the resistance of peanut and further understanding of the molecular mechanism of systemic acquired resistance in peanut.
