Kurzfassung: Hegler and Dudley report on the im plementation of an induction program as one component in teacher education re form. They identify the general purposes of induction programs and describe how the Doane induction program addresses these purposes. The authors recommend the implementation of college-based in duction programs and present sugges tions for program development and addi tional research.
