Abstract:
Objetivo: Identificar a frequência e os fatores associados à COVID-19 na população de minorias sexuais e de gênero brasileira e discutir a potencialidade da atenção primária à saúde na busca ativa desses casos. Método: Este estudo transversal com adultos foi realizado em agosto-novembro, 2020. A variável dependente foi o diagnóstico auto-referido de COVID-19. Odds ratio (OR) e intervalos de confiança de 95% (IC 95%) foram estimados pela regressão logística. Resultados: Foram incluídos 976 respondentes. A frequência de COVID-19 foi 4,8% (IC95% 3,6-6,6). Homens-cis (OR = 3,57; IC95% 1,52-8,39), transexuais e não binários (OR = 4,11; IC95% 1,23-13,74) vs. mulheres-cis e trabalho fora do domicílio durante a pandemia (OR = 2,22; IC95% 1,12-4,40) apresentaram maiores chances de COVID-19; e ausência de pessoa próxima diagnosticada atual ou previamente com COVID-19 (OR = 0,15; IC95% 0,04-0,64), as menores. Conclusão: Apesar da COVID-19 ser infrequente neste grupo, seu controle precisa ser maior em homens, transexuais e não binários e mais expostos a infectados no trabalho e no dia-a-dia.
