Kurzfassung:
Abstract In the present study effluent of waste stabilization pond was used, in the cultivation of lettuce (Lactuca sativa L.). The influence of irrigation and the addition of organic manure was evaluated (non destructive analyses) on vegetable growth and production components. The experiments were conducted at WWTP of Campina Grande-PB, using four treatments and four repetitions in two cultivation cycles: July - August (1st cycle) and September - November (2nd cycle). Higher productivity and values of variables were found in the lettuces under wasterwalter irrigation and organic manure application.
