Abstract:
This paper presents the results of a previously published research of dynamics and short-term forecasting of regional power consumption. An autoregressive-moving-average based short-term forecasting model has been developed to estimate contribution of the temperature factor. The Box-Jenkins method was used to assess forecast model parameters and included a preliminary property-based estimation and parameter optimization based on maximum likelihood estimation.
