Abstract:
A modification method at the stage of synthesis of impregnated aminoformaldehyde resins with salts of tartaric acid has been examined. Formulae are presented and the properties of modified amino-resins were studied. Using the obtained resins, paper-resin films for facing board materials were produced, their properties were studied. Lamination modes for woodchip boards with the obtained film material were developed. The properties of the laminated boards were investigated. It was found out that salts of tartaric acid could be successfully applied as a modifier of impregnated amino-resins.
