Abstract:
O transtorno obsessivo-compulsivo (TOC) é uma condição psiquiátrica com prevalência mundial ao longo da vida gira em torno de até 2,3%, com uma idade média de início em torno de 19 anos e de forte impacto na qualidade de vida. O presente estudo de revisão buscou avaliar novas atualizações na abordagem terapêutica do transtorno obsessivo-compulsivo, documentadas por meio de ensaios clínicos randomizados. Trata-se de uma pesquisa de revisão integrativa realizada por meio da base de dados PubMed, que levou em consideração os seguintes critérios de inclusão: testes controlados e randomizados; artigos publicados no último ano (2022-2023); que possuíam texto completo disponível e que abordassem acerca de novas atualizações no tratamento do transtorno obsessivo-compulsivo (TOC). Ficou constatado que a estimulação transcraniana por corrente contínua (ETCC) demonstrou ser um tratamento promissor aceitável, bem tolerado e praticável para o TOC. Ademais, verificou-se que a combinação da granisetrona com a sertralina representou queda maior nos escores de obsessão em pacientes com TOC, resultando em uma proporção maior de pacientes com resposta completa no tratamento e confirmando a eficácia e boa tolerabilidade da granisetrona na terapia adjuvante aos ISRSs em pacientes com TOC moderado a grave não refratário. Por fim, a terapia cognitivo-comportamental pela internet (iTCC) combinada com abordagem medicamentosa se mostrou segura e econômica no tratamento do TOC, demonstrando uma alternativa terapêutica eficaz quando a TCC presencial não for possível.
