Abstract:
A Síndrome de Distress Respiratório Agudo (SDRA) é uma condição clínica grave, caracterizada por hipoxemia refratária e infiltrado pulmonar bilateral, que geralmente ocorre em resposta a uma lesão pulmonar ou sistêmica aguda. A SDRA continua a ser um desafio significativo nas Unidades de Terapia Intensiva (UTI), com altas taxas de morbidade e mortalidade. As estratégias de tratamento para SDRA são complexas e requerem uma abordagem multidisciplinar. As terapias atuais concentram-se em suporte de vida de suporte e minimização de danos pulmonares adicionais por meio de intervenções como a ventilação mecânica de baixo volume corrente e a posição prona. Além disso, a gestão da fluidoterapia, o uso de bloqueadores neuromusculares e a terapia nutricional adequada desempenham um papel vital no manejo da SDRA. Este artigo realiza uma revisão extensa e atualizada da literatura sobre as estratégias multidisciplinares para o manejo da SDRA na UTI. Aborda os avanços recentes, as práticas baseadas em evidências e as abordagens colaborativas no tratamento da SDRA, a fim de fornecer insights sobre a otimização dos cuidados para estes pacientes críticos.
