    Abstract: In this retrospective study, 78 canine mammary tumors were examined at the Pathology Department, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Ondokuz Mayis, from January 2004 to July 2019.Twenty-five of 78 dogs with tumors (36.23%) were terrier, 11 (15.94%) mixed,7 (10.14%) cocker, 26 (37.68%) were 13 different breeds. Breeds of 9 were not known. The ages of 7 dogs out of 78 dogs were not known. In 71 dogs, excluding these unknown dogs, 31 (43.46%) were between 9-12 years, 27 (38.03%) were between 5-8 years, 10 (14.08%) were between 13-16 years, 3 (4.23%) were between 1-4 years old. Seventy-five cases of 78 were malignant (23 complex carcinoma, 22 carcinosarcoma -malignant mixed mammary tumor, 5 tubular carcinoma, 5 tubulopapillary carcinoma, 5 invasive micropapillary carcinoma, 4 comedocarcinoma, 3 mixed type carcinoma, 3 ductal carcinoma, 2 intraductal papillary carcinoma, 2 adenosquamous carcinoma, 1 carcinoma and malignant myoepithelioma) and remaining 3 cases were benign (2 benign mixed tumors, 1 intraductal papillary adenoma).
