Abstract:
La pericarditis constrictiva es una patología infrecuente en nuestro medio. La dificultad de su diagnóstico reside en su presentación clínica, con frecuencia insidiosa, y en las similitudes ecocardiográficas que puede presentar con una miocardiopatía restrictiva. Sin embargo, prestar atención a ciertos datos clave (clínicos y de imagen) puede ayudarnos a establecer el diagnóstico lo antes posible, y tratar de evitar la progresión de la enfermedad.
