Abstract:
Se buscó tipificar los sistemas agropecuarios del piedemonte amazónico mediante una muestra de 90 fincas; para ello, se empleó análisis multivariado (específicamente análisis de conglomerados). La tipificación integra aspectos estructurales y dinámicas ambientales de las fincas, así como variables socioeconómicas de los productores. A partir del número de necesidades básicas insatisfechas, la razón beneficio costo y el carbono almacenado en biomasa aérea en bosques, se identificaron cuatro tipos de sistemas: sistemas agroforestales semiempresariales, ganadería lechera semiempresarial, sistemas familiares agropecuarios tradicionales y sistemas agroforestales de subsistencia.
