Abstract:
El objetivo de este documento es mostrar parte del conocimiento, estructuras tradicionales y algunas de las prácticas comunitarias de la población indígena de Huehuetla. La información corresponde a un estudio de caso que combinó herramientas metodológicas como la observación participante, el uso de entrevistas a profundidad y el análisis de encuestas. Toda esta estrategia de campo reveló dos formas de sentir, pensar y practicar el modo de vida Totonaca. El primero, Tapaxuwan Latamat o Vida en Felicidad, fijado a las formas de convivencia armónica entre comuneros y naturaleza. Y el segundo, Talipuwan Latamat o Vida en Infelicidad, resultado de la desvalorización del conocimiento y la pérdida de las tradiciones huehuetecas.
