Abstract:
The lecture-performance has drawn the attention of several theorists and historians of contemporary arts, but none in the literary field. This medium represents however a particularly relevant observation platform over the different contemporary literary creation trends. Furthermore, an archaeological method around the concept of lecture-performance allows considering in a new way the writers’ lectures from the past, as actual performances and not only as theoretical texts. It’s from a disciplinary point of view that we’ll try to think this hybrid medium, involving different artistic practices, theoretical discourses and medias.
