Abstract:
En el presente estudio de investigación se ha determinado la biomasa aérea y el carbono almacenado en el Bosques Reservado de la Universidad Nacional Agraria de la Selva. Para este fin, se trabajaron en dos parcelas permanentes de muestreo (PPMs) de un área de 100 x 100 m (1,0 ha), registrando a todos los individuos con un diámetro a la altura del pecho (DAP) o punto óptimo de medición (POM) ≥10 cm. Los valores de acumulación de biomasa aérea más altos, se obtuvieron en la “Parcela 4” colina alta con (AGBest 287,97 Tha-1), carbono almacenado a partir de la biomasa aérea con (143,96 tC/ha-1), Seguido de la “Parcela 1” con (AGBest 169,17 Tha-1) y de carbono almacenado (84,59 tC/ha-1). La acumulación de la biomasa aérea por clase diamétrica está mejor representada en las clases diamétricas 〉 60 cm DAP con acumulación de (AGBest 79,81 Tha1). A nivel de familias y especies las Fabaceae acumulan mayor biomasa aérea con (AGBest 54,12 Tha-1), representado por una abundancia y riqueza media (S= 14. A= 32) fijada a partir de especie Cedrelinga cateniformis (Fabaceae), con un diámetro de 127,42 cm y una densidad media de 0,504 g/cm3., acumulando biomasa aérea (AGBest 18,51 Mg ha-1).
