El presente artículo propone un nuevo análisis de los testimonios del sacrificio de hombres y caballos en el occidente de la Hispania romana, a partir de la perspectiva de las religiones comparadas en el marco de la tradición indoeuropea. Se intenta definir muy claramente lo que podemos saber y con lo que podemos contar verdaderamente para proseguir la investigación en estos dominios, This paper puts forward a new analysis of the testimonies of human and horse sacrifices in western Roman Hispania, from a comparative religions perspective, within the framework of the Indo-European tradition. The paper attempts to define clearly what knowledge we actually have and can count on to continue with the research in this field.
