Wo und wie schnell nehmen Wurzeln Wasser auf? Obwohl diese Frage in Pflanzen- und Bodenwissenschaften von großer Bedeutung ist, gibt es nur wenige experimentelle Daten darüber, an welcher Stelle der Wurzeln eine transpirierende Pflanze das Wasser aus dem Boden erhält.
