Ein junger Schwarzer will in einem Gasthaus den weißen Geliebten seiner Frau, einer "Mulattin", zur Rede stellen. Dabei wird er mit Rassenvorurteilen konfrontiert und muss fliehen, als der Nebenbuhler unbeabsichtigt seine frühere Geliebte tötet. Zwar kommt es zur Versöhnung, doch die Ungleichbehandlung der Protagonisten zeigt die herrschende Rassendiskriminierung. Mit wenig Geld hergestellter avantgardistischer Low-Budget-Stummfilm, dessen eher schlichte Handlung um ein Dreieicksverhältnis Brisanz durch den expliziten Umgang mit der Rassenfrage sowie der Sexualität bekommt.
