Content: The author here presents an attempt to understand four especially puzzling chapters of late Old Testament prophets (Isaiah 24-27). He interprets Isaiah 24-27 as a component of the final redaction of the book of Isaiah. The so-called "Isaiah apocalypse" is understood as a fruit of the liturgically influenced interpretation of Scripture at the end of the Ptolemaic period.
