Die Struktur der Ununterscheidbarkeit zieht sich wie ein roter Faden durch das gesamte erzählerische Werk Franz Kafkas. Anhand von differenztheoretischen Überlegungen Niklas Luhmanns, Jacques Derridas, Giorgio Agambens und Pierre Bourdieus lässt sich so in inhaltlicher wie sprachlicher bzw. erzählerischer Hinsicht das Eigentümliche der Literatur Kafkas neu fassen und verstehen. Darüber hinaus kann mit Hilfe von Derridas Theorem des „Undekonstruierbaren“ der systematische Erklärungsanspruch von Kafkas so genannten Zürauer Aphorismen rekonstruiert werden. Auf diese Weise lässt sich der affirmative Begriff des „Unzerstörbaren“ aus den Aphorismen erklären und rückwirkend in seiner konstitutiven Bedeutung für die differenztheoretische Deutung der Texte Kafkas im ersten Teil verständlich machen. Ein Exkurs über das Kino David Lynchs erweitert schließlich die differenztheoretischen Einsichten des ersten Teils auf das Medium Film und zeigt strukturelle Parallelen zwischen der Literatur Kafkas und ausgewählten Filmen Lynchs auf.
