Note: All three almanacs are in fact the work of Sharp. The calculations on the calendar pages are identical with those in Poor Robin's and the Citizen's and farmer's almanacs for 1806 (Philadelphia), both by Sharp, except that The Washington almanac adds a column for the moon's southing, omits that of time equations, and gives high water times for New York instead of Philadelphia. The astronomical notes in the third column are also duplicated, except that The Washington almanac adds a few and omits a few others. The preceding eclipse predictions are identical as well. The false attribution to Beers, another well-known calculator, was intended to widen sales of the Stewart almanacs. - Drake, M. Almanacs, 10721. - Except for the title, and the prose and verse matter on the calendar pages, this almanac is identical throughout with Father Abraham's almanac and The Pennsylvania, New-Jersey, Delaware, Maryland and Virginia almanac for 1806, both printed by Peter Stewart, and both naming Joshua Sharp as their calculator. - Shaw & Shoemaker, 9689. - Title vignette. The Anatomy is the only other illustration
