Bibliotheken sehen sich zunehmend mit der Integrationsproblematik konfrontiert. Das gilt insbesondere für Öffentliche Bibliotheken in Stadtbezirken mit einem sehr hohen Anteil an Migranten. Eine besondere Rolle in der interkulturellen Bibliotheksarbeit spielen die Zusammenarbeit mit kompetenten Partnern sowie das Bibliothekspersonal selbst. In diesem Beitrag wird ein laufendes Projekt vorgestellt, in dem die Bibliothek als Ort der interkulturellen Begegnung die kulturelle Vielfalt aktiv als Bereicherung erlebbar macht.
