Die Einführung zum zweisprachigen Text zeigt, dass zu den Prätexten dieses Werkes wesentlich der philanthropische Nomokanon (1220) des Erzbischofs Sava – moralische Instanz Serbiens fInstanz Serbiens für Jahrhunderte – zählt, und sie macht deutlich, wie die 68 Gedichte des Zyklus Ich bitte um Gnade zu einer komplexen Struktur kontextualisiert werden.
