Der Band zeichnet ein umfassendes, spannendes Porträt von Kuhnerts außergewöhnlichem Leben und Werk und berücksichtigt dabei auch die aktuelle Debatte über den Umgang mit der kolonialen Vergangenheit Deutschlands.
