This research is part of the debate on broadcasting as well as its influences and the process of dissolution of traditional cultures to the contact of the modern world through satellite television. The process for receiving foreign television is marked by the existence of phenomena of identification, reconciliation with social conditions and lifestyles as well as the different values and cultures. Elements have been crucial, especially for introducing Arab and Western televisions in Algeria. Sociocultural references conveyed by the programs of arabic channels include contents in which the Algerians can recognize themselves: Arabic music, folk dances, the poetic heritage, films and western TV series as well as other programs referring to leasure activities. In this case, television programs by satellite in Algeria play a key role both in the conversion of the young Algerian generation's lifestyles and the modification of the traditional cultures within the society, especially the youth community. Thus, this research reveals the impact of television on both young rurals and dwellers and denotes the strength as well as the desire to change lifestyles. In other words, the observations confirm the link between socio-cultural environment to which the young generation belongs and the impact of television on it. A sample of students at the University of Skikda and talks in the region Collo helped to assess the influence of television on the young people of this mountainous region since a significant number of those students were from small villages. As a result, it was possible to highlight the fact that the way in which the programs and films are currently designed and distributed leads to the point that satellite TV conveys right now in Algeria many adverse effects. Indeed, country sides are progressively abandoned while Algeria is more and more becoming an urbanizing country as the young generation wishes to move to cities or go abroad now. Therefore, the number of farmers will go even lower and food production will become a difficult issue to solve. In other words, the impact of television on the lifestyles of rural youth who also wants to live as a dweller of Algeria or elsewhere opens up a new perspective of research to conduct on the role of Algerian television in order to reduce rural emigration
