Notre but est d'examiner la problématique dite du parallélisme à titre de possibilité d'une éthique sans devoir. Du point de vue architectonique, elle sert à discerner au sein de l'Ethique de Spinoza une transition entre le rapport de la pensée au réel -rapport postulé au niveau de l'Univers total (Eth., II, prop. 7) -et le rapport qui se limite, par essence, à l'effort existentiel des hommes en tant qu'individus singuliers (Eth. V, prop. 1). L'exigence qui régit cette transition représente, du point de vue historique, la position spinoziste vis-à-vis de la philosophie du Cogito, à laquelle tient en grande partie l'idéalisme qui impose de départager, dans la recherche du principe de la moralité, l'a priori et l'empirique et, par voie de conséquence, le formalisme du devoir et la pathologie du désir. Viser une éthique sans devoir, c'est exprimer l'irréductibilité du moi personnel au sujet transcendantal

In this work, we tried to reconstruct Spinoza's thought in virtue of the problematic called "parallelism", which permits above all to reconcile structural analysis with historical approach. Structurally, Spinoza's Ethica shows a kind of compelling transition which conducts us from the relation between Thought and World -postulated exclusively at the level of divine intellect (Ethica II, proposition 7) -to the empirical relation between soul and body (Ethica V, proposition 1). In discussing the interpretation of parallelism in relation to ethical understanding of human nature, we defended the possibility that this transition is related to Spinoza's critics of Cartesian subjectivity. From historical point of view, the invention of Cartesian subjectivity is responsible for the idealist attempt to separate the a priori and the empirical in quest of the principle of morality and, as a consequence, the formalism of the ought and the pathology of the desire
