An artist's book consisting primarily of enlarged and altered photographs of General Lee with accompanying text, printed offset. Two folded sheets forming eight unnumbered pages with two fold-outs are saddle-stitched into a red paper wrapper, laid into a paper wrapper printed with facsimile images of a newspaper dated Monday, April 10, 1865 with the headline "Surrender of Lee and his whole army!" Includes a quote from J.R. Hamilton, taken from the New York Times, Sunday, April 23, 1965 issue
