A file of signals intelligence reports, messages, and correspondence issued by the Government Code and Cypher School and sent by the head ('C') of the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) to the Prime Minister, Winston Churchill. This file includes the following reports on Southern Europe: Kesselring's appreciation of the situation in the beach-head, as at March 1; and of a further Allied attack on San Stefano on March 8. This file also includes a letter to Churchill from Germany, unsigned, imploring him not to bomb the innocent but to exterminate the Nazis, on February 25
