A file of correspondence concerning a libel case brought against the New York Times by Archibald Ramsay, who had been accused by the newspaper of passing information to Germany. The letters include correspondence between lawyers for the Times and the Foreign Office attempting to resolve the case, which had the potential to damage Anglo-American relations.
