Nichols, C.L. "Notes on the almanacs of Massachusetts." Proceedings of the American Antiquarian Society, n.s. v. 22 (1912): 34-35, and the Dictionary of American biography. The eclipse predictions are identical, and calendar page notes correspond closely, with those in West's The New-England almanack, or Lady's and gentleman's diary, for 1772 (Providence).
