Das Museum erhält die Gelegenheit, knapp zwei Dutzend Werke von Paul Klee (1879-1940) aus den Jahren 1914 bis 1938 zeigen zu können. Der berühmte Klee Sammler Heinz Berggruen hat für diese Sammlung vor Jahren einmal die Bezeichnung Les Klee du Paradis gefunden. Diese mit viel Gespür zusammengetragenen Werke beinhalten Arbeiten wie das im Zusammenhang der Tunisreise entstandene Aquarell Hamammet (1914), die Arbeit Rhythmie der Fenster und Tannen (1919) mit dem von Klee selbst ausgesuchten Ovalrahmen, das heiter-melancholische Gemälde Das Fest der Astern (1921) und das spätere Werk Figur im Garten (1937). Im Dialog der Werke miteinander erhält der Besucher Einblick in die phantastische Welt der Schöpfungen und Geschöpfe Paul Klees und in seine poetisch-anmutigen Titelfindungen.
