    Content: Collection of plays in Creole by Syto Cavé (1944), a well-known Haitian poet, lyricist and playwright. Syto Cavé was the Writer of Honor at the Annual Haiti Bookfair 2015. Cavé studied at the Conservatoire d'Arts dramatiques in Port-au-Prince and later formed the group Société des Messagers de l'Art, a group that performed poetic and theatrical pieces on stage and on radio. He spent the years 1968-1982 in exile in New York City where he formed the experimental theatrical group Kouidor along with other Haitian exiles such as Georges Castera. After his return to Haiti he founded, along with other returned exiles, the workshop Atelier des Arts et Spectacles (ADASA) in 1983 and later in 1989 another theatrical company Vigie, with the famous Haitian actress and singer, Toto Bissainthe. Syto Cavé has published several collections of short stories and poetry including Van Cortland Club (short stories, 1999), Une rose rouge entre les doigts (short stories, 2011), La cabine jaune (short stories, 2014) and Qui d'un soir (poetry, 2011). He has written more than 12 plays in Creole and French which have been performed in Haiti, the United States, France, Martinique and Guadeloupe and has produced many plays written by other playwrights such as Simone Schwarz-Bart's Ton beau capitaine, Ina Césaire's Rosanie-Soleil, and Claude Innocent's Ce fou d'empereur
