La actividad del transporte marítimo internacional en todo el mundo ha expresado altos grados de crecimiento en los últimos años, especialmente después de 2002. Gran parte del crecimiento económico mundial se expresa y está relacionado con la actividad del comercio internacional, el cual se ejerce mayoritariamente a través de los mares. Sin embargo, se observa también una falta de paridad en las estadísticas marítimas, ya que los resultados cambian según la fuente analizada. El presente Boletín FAL continúa el análisis iniciado en la Edición No 250, de junio del corriente año.
