    Inhalt: According to the author, a "special" Sino-German relationship can be observed as having developed since the early 1990s. It is characterized by a pragmatism almost unhampered by such problems as human rights, Taiwan or Tibet. The resulting closeness has been criticized both inside and outside Germany.
