Dokumentiert wird der Befehl Nr. 270 des Hauptquartiers des obersten Befehlshabers der Roten Armee vom 16. August 1941, in dem die Ergebung an den Feind oder die Flucht vor ihm generell zu Desertion und Brechen des Fahneneides erklärt und mit obligatorischem Erschießen auf der Stelle bedroht wird. Die deutsche Übersetzung dieses berüchtigten Befehls Stalins ist ursprünglich erschienen in Nr. 17 (September 1988) des "Militärbulletins", das von der sowjetischen Presseargentur "Nowosti" herausgegeben wird. In einem "Nachwort zum Befehl Nr. 270" nimmt das Militärbulletin zu dem in der Direktive Nr. 30126 des Hauptquartiers erhobenen Vorwurf Stellung, die Generäle W. J. Katschalow, A. A. Wlassow, P. G. Ponedelin und W. F. Malyschkin seien zum Gegner übergelaufen und arbeiten mit ihm zusammen. (BIOst-Klk)
