Seit 1954 lebt Hetty Verolme in Australien. Im Alter von 15 Jahren hat sie das Konzentrationslager Bergen-Belsen überlebt. Zusammen mit etwa vierzig Kindern konnte sie der Vernichtung entgehen. Anne Frank starb damals in einer nahe gelegenen Baracke. Die Autorin wird über ihre Zeit und ihr Buch sprechen, aus dem die Übersetzerin Mirjam Pressler einige Passagen liest. Die Buchpräsentation wird im Zusammenhang mit dem Beltz Verlag durchgeführt.
