Mysterium Religion: Wenn ein Reuegebet von juristischen Formeln wimmelt, aber die beliebteste Sakralmusik inspiriert, muss das an unstillbarer Vergebungs-Sehnsucht liegen. Im Kol Nidre gipfeln alle Versöhnungs-Themen von Jom Kippur. Der Romantiker Max Bruch, den die Welt seitdem für einen Juden hält, komponierte - wie später John Zorn, die Electric Prunes u.a. - sein persönliches Kol Nidre. In der Liturgie-Reihe ihrer konzertanten Werkstattgespräche untersuchen Thomas Lackmann und Philipp Olivier Schätze synagogaler Tradition, begleitet von Studenten der Hochschule für Musik "Hanns Eisler" mit Klavier, Violine und Klarinette.
