The work is a cliché of the first miniature edition of Maimonides, brought out in Livorno. This book bears the number 236 of a single special edition of 1000 copies on genuine English Alpha-paper. The cover was made in copperplate-printing according to an antique leather-cover in the Grolier style. Special edition of "Dos jidisze wort" , authorized by Headquarters, European Command, Civil Affairs Division, AG. 383.7 GEC-AGO, on the 15th of May 1947.
