Der 1956 geborene Meyer-Burckhardt ist bekannt als Fernsehproduzent sowie besonders als Moderator der NDR-Talk-Show und der Radiosendung "Frauengeschichten". Seit 2017 weiß er um seine Krebserkrankung. Die beiden Karzinome taufte er nach seinen Lieblingsautoren Kafka und Shaw. Seine Lebensbilanz bleibt erfreulich frei von Sentimentalität und Larmoyanz.
