Als mehrere Damen sterben, fällt der Verdacht auf den Fürsten. In Briefen schildert er seiner Ex-Frau von seinem Leben in London, während diese im fernen Muskau Gefallen an einem jungen Gärtner findet. Auch dieser Roman ist sehr gut recherchiert und beschreibt detailliert und atmosphärisch dicht das Leben in Muskau und in der Londoner Gesellschaft. Eine Kriminalgeschichte, Liebe und zahlreiche historische Persönlichkeiten sorgen für Spannung und Abwechslung. Ein empfehlenswertes, unterhaltsames und informatives Buch für anspruchsvollere Leser historischer Romane.
