Transferred from a positive print struck from the original camera negative. New english subtitles added in 1999 below the original Russian intertitles. Audio commentary by Russian cinema historian Yuri Tsivian. Music score composed and performed in 1998 by The Alloy Orchestra. "The Eureka PAL version have used the NTSC master from Image and not converted their own, hence in the last capture you can see evidence of "ghosting". They both have the same commentary, but the Image has more chapter stops. Because of the inherent problems associated with NTSC-〉PAL conversions I would obviously choose the Image disc.."
