Jon Shenk zu diesem Film: "I really wanted it to be an observational fly-on-the-wall piece, It ended up being impossible to do the web doc that way because they're so short and they were a specific kind of 'how to' film for a particular craft. And so we had to do interviews for those. But with a longer piece, it's more about the artists involved. It was much easier to let footage play out and let themes play out and let things kind of lead free associatively into one another. When the camera is invisible and the story is told through observation, in a documentary that's called cinéma verité." (Lucasfilm)
