Au nord du Maroc, la ville de Tétouan est surnommée "Fille de Grenade". Abdelsadek Chekara et son orchestre y interprètent le répertoire classique des noubas, suites musicales aux accents de flamenco héritées l'Andalousie si proche. Tétouan, la ś grenadine, perpétue le souvenir de l'Age d'Or qui fut celui de l'Espagne tolérante où chrétiens, juifs et musulmans vivaient dans la convivialité exprimée en particulier par la musique.
